"David Conarroe comes from a long line of drummers. He was born with a WFL drum kit in the basement, which he used to learn the basics of the drum set.

The kit was purchased in 1959 by his grandfather, gigged around the midwest by his uncle in the 70s, and was past down to his mother to use in jazz bands in the 80s.

He spent the better part of the last decade producing drums for and managing the operations of C&C Drum Company.

He's combined his passion of vintage drums, with his skills manufacturing and selling modern drums to create Standard Drum Company. "
