Tom Starkweather began photographing for his hometown newspaper while in high school. Starkweather’s interest in photographing professionally took him to the Rochester Institute of Technology where he received a BFA in Photojournalism in 2006. Tom is interested in capturing the surprising juxtapositions and singular moments he encounters. He is fascinated by technology, neighborhood culture, and the spontaneous moments that fuse them. When he is not photographing, Tom is a sound recordist and post audio editor. He also produces music in the form of personal compositions as well as feature and short film soundtracks.

Turtle Creek Vineyard was established in February 2016 by founders Dan and Sue Schulse. After 40 years of work in the oil and gas and mining businesses with great support from his wife Sue, Dan realized his dream to put his Texas A&M agriculture degree to work developing an agro-tourism business here in Kerr County, Texas. Turtle Creek Vineyard is located on 160 acres alongside beautiful, live water Turtle Creek just 9 miles from downtown Kerrville. The Turtle Creek Vineyard offers a well-designed and decorated orchard house for weekend stays, tastings and wedding venues. This is a working farm soon to be offering grapes for wine production, pecans, chickens, honey and meat lambs all raised with loving care for the enjoyment of our customers. Dan and Sue have assembled a great team of workers that are knowledgeable, personable and ready to serve you during your visit to our farm. We are eager for you to come and visit us and to taste our products.
